Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of terms

By downloading or using Couple Widget ("the app"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. Description of the service

Couple Widget is an iOS application that lets two paired partners share a hand-drawn doodle widget, a polaroid photo timeline, anniversary counters, and a private emoji journal between their iPhones. The app is available on the Apple App Store.

3. Eligibility & pairing

The app is intended for use by individuals aged 13 and up. By pairing with another user, you confirm that you have their consent to share content with them, and that you accept that any content you create or upload may be visible to your paired partner.

You can unpair at any time from the app's settings. Unpairing removes the shared zone between the two devices.

4. User content

You retain all rights to the content you create, draw, photograph, or upload through the app ("User Content"). By using the app, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process your User Content solely for the purpose of operating the app's features (for example, syncing it between you and your partner via iCloud, rendering widgets, and exporting screenshots you ask for).

You are responsible for your User Content. You agree not to upload content that:

• Violates anyone's rights, including intellectual property or privacy rights
• Is illegal, harassing, threatening, defamatory, or sexually explicit involving minors
• Infringes any law or regulation in your jurisdiction

5. Subscriptions and purchases

Couple Widget Pro

Couple Widget Pro is offered as an auto-renewable subscription and/or a one-time lifetime purchase. Subscription length, price, and availability are shown on the App Store paywall before purchase. Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in iOS Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.

Lifetime purchase

The lifetime purchase grants permanent access to Pro features for the device's purchasing Apple ID, with a single one-time payment. Lifetime purchases are non-refundable, except as required by applicable law or Apple's refund policies.

Pricing

All prices are displayed in your local currency via the App Store and may vary by region. Prices are subject to change.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
• Use the app for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to access another user's paired session
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the app or its systems

7. Intellectual property

All content, design, and functionality of Couple Widget — including but not limited to graphics, logos, copy, and code (excluding User Content) — is the exclusive property of the developer and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that it will meet your specific expectations. We rely on Apple's iCloud and CloudKit infrastructure for syncing and cannot guarantee delivery times for content shared between paired partners.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of relationship outcomes, or any emotional consequences of using or not using the app.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the app if you breach these Terms or use the app in a way that risks the integrity of the service. You may stop using the app at any time by deleting it from your device.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Spain, except where mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence apply.

12. Changes to these terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Use at any time. Continued use of the app after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
